Angel was far too
sassy for her first owner so she came to live with Wheels and me. She
did manage to learn enough obedience for a novice title but wasn’t
about to do more than that. After all, there were birds to chase, duck
eggs to suck down, gophers to hunt and mischief to get into.

She always lives life on her own terms and works hard at getting what she wants. She’s very smart and is not above a little trickery to get cookies or toys away from the other dogs. |

At 16 plus, she's a little arthritic and doesn't see or hear as well as she used to. It's gotten too hard for her to hunt duck eggs anymore, but she'll still wake out of a sound sleep for supper or if she smells a cookie at the other end of the house and come wagging her tail to get HER share first. Three months shy of her 17th birthday, it was apparent that the essential part of Angel had already translated to the TT dimension where her “boys” waited for her so I sadly helped the old girl complete her final, peaceful transition. |
